Music

My music ratings are the same as my movie ratings. I think that each artist as well as each song should have a rating so that the songs are known as they really are. I mean some music websites or programs have the word explicit next to a song or at least in the information about the song that tell listeners what is in their songs. Of course the name of the song can and often does give away its message but the best way is to look up the lyrics. That's what I've started doing with songs on Spotify https://www.spotify.com/us/ its free but at what price the commercials can be awful. But you can also go to other sites or install things like itunes https://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewRadioMain?ls=1
but that usually comes free if you purchase an iPod or have really good windows computers. I mean you can listen to music on www.youtube.com you can just listen to whatever you want if you have adblock AdBlock Download or https://adblockplus.org/

Movies

I've come to find out that movies can teach you a lot of things, good and bad. The thing is that some people can't seem to tell the difference. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Movie_ratings  There are so many movies that look awesome in the preview but then I see the rating afterwards and its rated R and I was raised to not watch R rated movies and I agree it's something that bothers me and that these kind of movies are shown on tv all the time and I would go look up online to see why its rated R and it would be for language, violence, and sexual content. And that's understandable But when I go to watch a PG-13 movie and it would have violence and language but it would have these absolutely random sexual scenes. There is no need for it at all. The movie would have been fine without those scenes, the plot line of the movie would totally make since but of course with out fail there is a scene every twenty minutes almost like clock work. SO ANNOYING.
And don't even get me started on tv. There is just so much garbage that producers get away with because they pass their "TV" test. One country has a rating that is pretty self explanatory.
PU – Released for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY and is not classified for commercial use. Violence, nudity, sex scenes and strong language are released for educational, artistic and intellectual purposes under this category. I think that if the US had that rating I would know exactly what it meant. :)

But another way to self rate movies is to YouTube it. there is so much stuff good and bad on there and all you have to do is look it up. you can even look up movie reviews I do it all the time watch

So anyone who reads this there is a movie called monuments men its pretty good. It's about a group of men  in world war two who save things from being destroyed that have cultural significance. It's based on a true story I might add. I honesty think that it was one of the better movies that I've seen in a long time.
