My music ratings are the same as my movie ratings. I think that each artist as well as each song should have a rating so that the songs are known as they really are. I mean some music websites or programs have the word explicit next to a song or at least in the information about the song that tell listeners what is in their songs. Of course the name of the song can and often does give away its message but the best way is to look up the lyrics. That's what I've started doing with songs on Spotify https://www.spotify.com/us/ its free but at what price the commercials can be awful.
